The Carrington Inn has a variety of quality spaces to suit the needs of meeting and event organisers. These include the following venues:
Rose Cottage Hall: This is a flexible and secure meeting facility with plenty of natural light and 3mtr/10ft ceilings. It’s well suited for conferences, workshops, product showcases, and lectures of between 25 and 120 participants depending on the table and seating configurations. The Hall can be booked in conjunction with the other venue spaces at the Inn for a substantial conference space.
Rose Cottage Veranda: This is a bright and casual meeting space, well suited for small lectures and team meetings for up to 25 people, or break-out sessions for a larger conference in the Rose Cottage Hall. It can also combine with the Foyer to create an adjunct exhibition or demonstration space for the main function. Surrounded on three sides by full length glass windows, this climate controlled Veranda feels like you are having your meeting outdoors regardless of the weather. It is a great space for creative thinking.
ELM PARK Event Grounds: This is a substantial secure outdoor space with the right amount of sun and shade year-round. The Event Grounds can be configured in creative ways for product showcases, craft & culture fairs, team soirées, entertainment, and much more. Overhead lighting creates a viable evening as well as daytime venue. In-ground power outlets support marquee and kiosk structures, and removable lighting stanchions reduce costs for special event lighting. All gate locations have wired ethernet connectivity for entry control and attending numbers management. Creative event organisers can book the Grounds in conjunction with our food and beverage venues for a strong impact function.
FLOCK in the heritage Wintergarden building: This elegant Victorian building is the original 1885 inn created by William Winter. Today it is the restaurant and bar venue at the Carrington. Its hall is a perfect venue for small gatherings that need to give an impression. The building has 3.3mtr/11ft pure copper and sculpted ceilings, six wood burning fireplaces and crystal chandeliers. It is well suited for media conferences, special announcements, and stand-up receptions for between 15 and 35 participants. FLOCK can also provide small private delegation rooms with catering for 4 to 14 pax. Bookings are requires as availability is limited.
For All Venues: Normal meeting equipment and service amenities are available for all venues, including WiFi, PC video projector, sound system, padded seats, tables, and other associated items. Quality catering is prepared and served onsite. Onsite parking.
