Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a warm and congenial Guest Service staff member, who is eager to get you settled as soon as possible.  As you walk under an open veranda to your room, you’ll begin to shrug off the burdens of work or travel.

On the way to your room with windows that open to fresh air and the sound of native birds, you may smell fresh mown grass and fragrant vintage roses and lavender growing along the path for you.

After you refresh in your room, stroll through Elm Park, the Inn’s private garden on your way to our tavern for some refreshing drinks, or to our Cafe Woodworks for a wholesome and satisfying meal.  A Guest Service Assistant would be happy to provide you a tour of the Inn and share with you some of the background information about the 130-year-old property.
